HGTV is looking for a builder/developer team to design and construct the 2008 HGTV Dream Home for the HGTV Dream Home Giveaway. The annual sweepstakes drew almost 54 million entries in 2006.
HGTV Dream Home criteria:
The developer/builder/architect team must either fully or substantially subsidize construction of the home, including land/lot, permits and fees.
The land/lot must have spectacular views. Waterfront is a plus.
The developer/builder/architect team must subsidize architect and landscape architect fees.
All team members (i.e., developer, builder, architect, landscape architect) must work with the HGTV Dream Home Design Team to create the plans and specifi cations for the home.
The HGTV Dream Home Design Team may include an HGTV appointed architect.
All designs are subject to approval and modifi cation by HGTV.
All elements of design and construction must begin in time for the 2008 HGTV Dream Home to be fully completed by July 31, 2007.
All elements of design and construction must begin in time for the 2009 HGTV Dream Home to be fully completed by July 31, 2008.
