A few of the article’s highlights include the belief that double-digit gains are a thing of the past, with growth in home prices expected to pull back to 5% in 2006. Secondly, prices will gain in the Midwest and the South accounting for 79% of the national new-home market. A slowdown is expected in the Northeast and West. Finally, my personal favorite, the market data is volatile and unpredictable. Nothing like stating the obvious, is there?
