Welcome to Spring Valley!

The Las Vegas valley is home to several growing cities, including Henderson, Pahrump and North Las Vegas. But few valley residents know that several small "cities" lie within Las Vegas itself, including Spring Valley, Paradise and Winchester. These tiny towns blend seamlessly into the streets of Las Vegas, but they actually are unincorporated parts of Clark County.
More than 117,000 people live in Spring Valley, but many of them may not even know it! Their mail bears a Las Vegas postmark, and they don't have a city council or government of their own. But according to the U.S. Census, Spring Valley is the fifth-most-populous unincorporated town in the United States.
Spring Valley is a 35-square-mile area roughly bordered by Sahara on the north, Sunset on the south, Hualapai on the west and Decatur on the east. Spring Valley began as a residential development in the early 1960s, and it acquired town status in 1981 to avoid possible annexation by the city of Las Vegas.
Spring Valley was named for the Spring Mountains, which form the west side of the Las Vegas valley. Residents enjoy scenic views of these hills as well as all the amenities their larger "sister city" has to offer.

Spanish Trail is a popular master-planned community located within Spring Valley. There are also dozens of subdivisions and smaller neighborhoods located throughout the area.

Amenities

Spring Valley residents share many amenities with residents of surrounding Las Vegas. There are several neighborhood parks in Spring Valley, including Prosperity Park and Spring Valley Park, and the Spring Valley Library branch also bears the community's name.
Desert Breeze Park is the largest recreational area located within Spring Valley. Desert Breeze features a skate park, ball fields, basketball courts, an outdoor water park, playgrounds, picnic areas and a dog run. The park hosts special events throughout the year, such as concerts and skateboard exhibitions, and its community center offers a variety of classes and activities.
Spring Valley is home to shops, restaurants, businesses and entertainment venues. Interstate 15 and the I-215 Beltway provide easy access to other locations in the Las Vegas valley.
