A Chicago developer has called off a proposed $600 million condo-hotel tower in Las Vegas that would have housed Michael Jordan-backed restaurants and a health club, amid concerns about a glut of high-priced condo projects there. The development was canceled because of "current market conditions," according to a recorded message at the sales office of the 825-unit project, called Aqua Blue. Michael Peterson, chief executive of Chicago-based Diversified Real Estate Concepts Inc., could not be reached for comment. Source: Chicago Tribune
